Summer has come and gone on my hemisphere, and many incredible things happened. I've been at the local craft fair for the whole summer selling my paper jewelry and accessories (I know, I should upload pics of those so you can see), and I've had amazing feedback. Everyone loved it. Now my self esteem is much better and I can emotionally function again.
Now the summer is over, I can go back to my art passion again and grow, grow, grow! I still find that not many people want to go through the learning process. They just want to take the tool and make great pieces instantly. Like that's going to happen, right? I'm blessed that I find the theory

I moved away from the big city four years ago. I live in a beautiful place, I don't think I could go back living in a grey, noisy, mad city. But finding like-minded people here has proven to be almost impossible. Here I'm perceived as a freak. The characteristics that made me interesting back there are the ones that make me not wanted here. It is incredible how much the environment (in this case, the social environment) shape the way one is perceived. If I hadn't met all the people I call friends back home, I wouldn't be who I am today.

Long time no write!
I've been thinking about returning to communicate through journals here, but it seems I'm not always in the mood to write.
BUT, there are several artsy stuff going through my mind that I have no people to share with (I mean, thoughts about artsy stuff), and this might be the right venue to get some feedback on them, after all.
I see this community growing more and more and I think I should hang out here more often. Hope you'll stick around!
